I did my best... LOL so please don't make fun of my childish riddle attempt

I'm constantly shaking, but I'm not afraid.
I'm very popular at hospitals.
I need heat to be born, but the heat also destroys me.

My first thought was a hospital cart, but the "heat" clue doesn't work with that one. I'm going to have to give this some thought.Lunastella wrote: ↑29 May 2020, 12:38 @DATo @InStoree

@InStoree @Lunastella
That is a good guess. I would never have thought of that. Or maybe Jello? Hospitals love to serve Jello as a desert with patient's meals.
I was thinking maybe a thermometer. They are used in hospitals and are shaken and record heat.
Or...
Perhaps a thermometer READING ??

Birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, or humans.
I have so many nutrients that one cell can create life.
Regardless of my size, another purpose I have is to feed you.
What am I?

An egg. Yes.
@DATo

Here's mine:
I'm expensive.
I'm "trendy".
My life is extremely fleeting.
My name is just nuts!
