Lobster is hard to beat, thats for sure. We used to catch crawdads from a creek in Utah, kind of a minature lobster and boil them until they turned red. Taste just like lobster, but it takes a bunch to make a meal.

sounds similar to Louisiana Crawfish...or what i used to eat at those beach seafood shacks when i lived in Acapulco..they called it " LANGOSTINO " or baby lobster...

they would slit it in half, drench it in butter and garlic and grill it right in front of you...my kids still talk about it...

the drink was Tequila Sunrise served in a huge " glass " worthy of serving as a fishbowl in a pinch...

do they have those informal beach restaurants where you live ?

we used to be in swimsuits, very handy to dip into the ocean to revive ourselves from that lethal drink...

STILL miss Mexico after all these years...

Theres one here, Ive been there a couple times. Theres not many places like that around here, this isnt really a tourist area. Its mainly agricultural, most of those kind of places are farther down south or up north in Ensenada.

Theres a resturant in Vicente Guerreo that had a bar, but they closed the bar part. They didnt have a lot of business.

Theres a resort about 30 miles south of here that is quite popular. They have docking for yachts and big pleasure boats and a resturant. We went there once, the food is good but very pricey.

Ive heard New York pizza is good. Best pizza I ever had was what you would call Montana pizza. It was a little hole-in-the-wall place in Kalispell, Montana that had the best pizza in the world. Kalispell had some great eating places. O Brien's Chinese resturant was one, they had a buffet every Sunday that was killer.

Another great eating place was in Missoula. It was a card room where these old guys went to play pinocchle and stuff, and they had a bar where they served good old home-made plain food. Piles of potatoes and gravy, steak, beef stew, breakfasts that would fill you up for a week and thick slices of home-made bread and real butter. Cholestorol heaven.

My favorite food is chocolate and bacon all the way. I love those foods so much. I could eat them all day, everyday! <3
