The Pyramids were built as tombs? ... and you want to spend the night in there ... you could have a lot of company?Bighuey wrote:Ive always wanted to go to Egypt and do what the writer Richard Halliburton did, spend the night in the great pyramid. That would be some experience.
Have you been at the taquila?

Big cities are overrated. On the contrary, I spend my holidays on quiet countryside and I think I'll turn mad once I return to Prague and face so many people on a daily basis...Simworm wrote:I'm hoping to save up enough money to be able to go to Melbourne around the New Year. My older brother lives there and I really wanna go to a big city. Otherwise my alternative is going to Wellington to see my friend who lives there.

Yes I sometimes like to spend my holiday somewhere quiet. However, Christchurch city centre(though I wouldn't call Chch a "big" city) has been closed for over 5 months now, I wanna go somewhere with really tall buildings and just get amongst the hustle and bustle. They get to be a bit much after a while though don't they. I have heard that Melbourne is awesome. I shall see...[/img]Vogin wrote:Big cities are overrated. No doubts that we did or we didn't...?!StephenKingman wrote:Just back from a lovely weekend in Wales, went to Oakwood theme park for the rollercoasters and thrils, then up to Pembroke to see some of the sights including the castle where i did the fascinating tour. Then the Stenaline back to Fishguard in luxury, very nice time. Time now to see if ye have behaved, although i have no doubts..
