I am a big purse person though. Not so much lately since I've been trying to save money and so on... But i do have a TON of purses... Big ones, small ones, medium ones, clutches...
I definitely get more satisfaction from buying purses than shoes.

I collect sneakers not shoes and have two handbags and two book bags, on the other hand my eldest pulled me aside one day and said "What's the deal with purses?!!!", apparently my daughter in law has multi shoes and bags for every outfit...I can't explain it myself...

I have a few low-mid heeled shoes which I wear now and then.
Most of the time I wear flats.
I own 2 handbags - one for everyday, one for night time.
I cannot imagine owning 40 of them.

I agree. I own one genuine beautiful Coach bag, but after a good discount, sale & coupons it was practically a steal (I worked at Macy's at the time) but I wouldn't get another.Loveabull wrote:I agree I mean even if money was no object I can't see spending a few hundred, a few thousand on some shoes or bag just because it has a designer name. My daughter in law shops those sites with sale alerts and all that stuff...But really, if I had more disposable income it would go into a pile of books, not a purse.
My daughters grandmother on the other hand, has bought several pairs of red-soled shoes, costing more than a grand, each. It's all about the name.
