Wrinkles @DATo ?
But those can't kill you, can they? hahaha
😂 Wrinkles, @Lunastella? Absolutely hilarious! Although it can kill the youth spirit.

You know something, almost every guess of mine where I have won in the past has been just a wild guess. :oops:

@Lunastella @Ant @InStoree

Those were good clues Luna, especially the "invisible" one.

I am just one in a group of thousands and we are very difficult to be driven from each other.
We work together to provide you with something important.
You can find us anywhere in the world where very large numbers of people congregate.
We can protect you from predators like other people, bears, and wolves.
We have been commemorated in children's toys.

What are we?

I'm going to try with fire or flames 🔥. They must scare bears and wolves...

Not fire and flames.

It doesn't necessarily scare bears and wolves (emphasis, wolves), but working together they protect you from them.

Great. Now I'm more puzzled than before, @DATo. 🧐

Is it related to physics? Light... Or "to infinity and beyond"? Toy Story...

@Ant @InStoree

Not related to physics, light, or dogs or diamonds.

I am just one in a group of thousands and once we form a group we are very difficult to be driven apart.
We work together to provide you with something important.
You can find us anywhere in the world where very large numbers of people live.
We can protect you from predators like other people, bears, and wolves.
We have been commemorated in children's toys.

BONUS CLUES:
1) It is mineral.
2) It is very common. You probably see them all the time.
3) Think, but out of the box -> children + wolf.
4) Totally different and unrelated to above -> think, very popular children's toy(s).

I have absolutely no idea of the answer but reading @InStoree 's coments makes me laugh 🤣
Light was a good guess but Toy Story was hilarious.
Sand @DATo? Wild, wild guess... But kids play in sandboxes don't they?

Not sand but you are on the right track.

Biggest clue of all ..... think of ALL very old and classic children's stories which include a wolf. The answer to my riddle plays a big part in one of those stories.

I think you will all agree that creating clues which are difficult enough to make the game fun while also easy enough to be solved is a real challenge. I think the clue above should have been one of my original clues but I thought it would give away the answer too easily.

YOU GOT IT !!!!

The toys of course were Lego toys (Lego bricks). And yes, it's the story of the three little pigs. The house of bricks could not be blown down by the wolf.

YOUR TURN!
