I've got a native Australian frog, Not too small and not too big. I've had it for almost 10 years and I've never been sorry I did it. I had wanted a tattoo for a long time but I couldn't decide what to get and then one day I just knew what I wanted.

Mine is just above my hip. I chose that place because I was doing this for myself not others so I didn't want it somewhere that it was on display (and I'm a realist enough to know that it could affect my employment prospects to have a visible tattoo on me). I like the position though because I can show others if I want to (if I just pull down the side of my pants you can see it without getting a flash of anything else!).

My advice is think long and hard about what you want and don't ever get the name of a partner tattooed onto you.

Well Laci it looks as if we've got another thread...

I love your idea of the goldfish and the meaning behind it, some people don't understand the bond and how tats can signify them. To each their own.

I'm still waiting on mine, though I'm happy to report I've found a place (since you know my situation T.Dum), 2 in fact, and am going to check them out soon.
I'm curious though, are you still going to get the Bronte quote Tweedle Dum?

Thats a good pont Lennoc.
I have a friend that got her ex's name and then she married someone else and had to change it. It went from Matt to Scott. Not pretty at all, totally ruined it, but she was stupid to get his name in the first place. She regrets it everyday.

Dee-
Not just ours, see, other people commented. That means it's everyones. I wasnt sure that was possible anymore...

Agreed. If i get the fish it would be for the bond and because i want it. Im not going to hold out on it because anyones against it, cause if they are they dont get it.

NO! Im not getting that one since it was decided it was for him and that would hurt too much, but thankfully the book itself doesnt remind me of him.
That book means more to me than anyone will ever know so i do want to represent that somehow. Just not with that quote. (Dee knows what im talking about.. for all you confused people. Sorry.)

Haha, and I'm very happy for that indeed.

I think getting something for a friend like that is a great tribute and I can't wait to do that with my friend Lauren. No matter how much of a pain in the butt she is... She's still stuck by me and that means more than anything.

Haha, I'm glad we've talked about that though, I think our conversations were meant to be. Yes, though maybe not for that reason or quote but I say still get one.
I'm all about meaning, whether small or large scale, as long as it's for yourself.
Even after the whole talk (you know what i'm talking about Dum), I still wanted to get that quote, which made me really happy because it symbolized growth and not just love.
I'm a big quotes person, I could get so many quotes on my body just for the meaning and seeing people when they read them and it causes them to think about things in their lives.

So what were you thinking about getting from Bronte then? Any ideas?

Yea.. you still should get the quote... it's more you than anyone else.
You've even said that.

I'm a huge quote person too, but i dont want something so big that it takes up half my back. Something cute on the shoulder, or in between the blades im all good with.

Not yet. I have several but they dont seem... appropriate?.. in this timing. I dont know... i'll find something to resemble it and you know i'll tell you when i do.

That sounds fantastic to me.
Yes, with or without person, I'm going to get it for what it represents and means personally.

It's good though that you don't know which one yet and have to narrow it down, kind of like selecting the most meaningful.
I'd rather that than just "ooh, that's cool! I'll get that!"

Haha, I think that's the shortest reply you've ever said... Ever.
Haha, EVER!

My friend wants to get a picture of Red Forman (that 70s show) on his back pointing saying "my foot in your a**" Haha. It should be amusing.

Oh okay okay... So say we go with that, that means you've won what? 1 out of 21 things? Hahaha, I'm not too worried.

And besides, those other things that I won I didn't even do anything, it was you making noo sense whatsoever and saying I won. Haha, you just made yourself lose.

Whatever... i won and you know it... just saying..

SOooo.. since this is indeed the tattoo page....
My dad just went and got a Kokopelli ( native american Fertility God.) on his upper arm. It's awesome. He's going to go and get something that represent's his grandchildren in each picture. Like a turtle beside it and get Seirra's name in it, an arrowhead on the other side with Bo's name and a sun with Madison in it. He's hoping for enough grandchildren to circle the Kokopelli but it's not going to happen unless either my brother or stepsister fold and have more. I told him to get a bone and put Yoshi in it but oh no... granddogs dont count.

Haha, that is awesome!
Especially since it's a fertility god and most males wouldn't do that for some reason...
But I like the additions to it.

Haha, discriminator!
