Hi, sort of namesake!! I think the Mel could possibly be Greek, not sure, but I do have a childhood memory of a teacher telling me the name Melissa also meant bee, so for a while I had an imaginary friend/sister/alter ego called Melissa. I was weird even then

@debbiebee That is awesome. There were only two other Melissa's in school when I was growing up and they were in grades lower than mine. I love that you had an imaginary friend named Melissa!!

My SO calls me "bean," I love reading (obviously) and have been described as bookish, and I am a fan of alliteration.

I was playing Scrabble, and these were the letters I had left over. I was going to be PhaRaus, but that's my brother's name.

What's the story behind your user name?

I was going through posts and noticed a lot of you have interesting user names, I would love to know the story behind them.

My user name is Single Churro, which I chose because of my perpetual love for churros and an ode to my singledom.

I love this question! Churro's are a delicious Mexican dessert! Flaky with sugar and cinnamon if I am not correct? The story behind my silly name is I have a cat named Mason and my young son used to say he acted "fancy" a lot of the time so I just put "AFancyMason" but sadly, I flubbed when I put in my username and misspelled Fancy. I am interested to see what others say about their usernames.

PS: I am happily coupled up now, but I thoroughly enjoyed my singledom days ;)
