There were some nights that we were going to go out clubbing, and we would have a couple of drinks and play a few rounds of Mario Kart. Next thing you knew it would be four or five in the morning and we had been playing it all night. We all loved it. The 3ds version in 3d is awesome. :D

There is nothing better than drunk Mario Kart! But, I feel like in order to enjoy drunk Mario Kart, it has to be on the nostalgia-filled N64. Or just piss people off on the Wii.

Hi esawyer, could not agree more. The N64 version is the best, closely followed by the original on the Snes. The 3ds version is also very good. :D

I have been putting off getting a 3DS for a while but Mario may be just the game to get me back- Gannon, I presume you can still play online with other players on the 3DS, that was where the best games come from.

Yep, Yep, SKM, you sure can and it is very stable, no lag. Every time I have played there have always been players on, and from countries all over the globe. The 3DS is an amazing little console, the screen is brilliant. However there are not many games out for it. I still only have four. Of course you can play the old DS games on it but you do not get the 3D, which is what makes the 3DS so good. I have the Resident Evil game which is really good, cheesy acting. However it is very much like RE4, and I seem to remember you are not a fan. If you get one make sure you get the new one. The 3D screen is larger. If you get one, let me know and we can have a race. :D

I don't think that level is on it. Don't worry I will give you plenty of time to practise. :D

No, no, no, you misunderstood me, I meant plenty of time to practise the new levels that you have never seen. :D

Yep, both the Resident Evil games are multiplayer. I know what you mean, I have not played any games for months now. I am really getting behind on my reading as well. However once Bioshock Infinity comes out, I will be getting into that.

Wow you guys... you just totally threw down. Got the spattin' down!
Pokémon Gen VI is in October! I must prepare! I just got a legit copy (found out my current copy was a fake) of Pokémon Emerald which cost just as much on eBay as a new 3DS game and it came out in 2005!

Mario 3D Land is fantastic, and it has an insane amount of playtime if you want to 100% it. It really makes good use of the 3D. I just got the remake of Ocarina, but that whole grad school thing doesn't really allow you to play games for extended periods of time.

Well guys I finally went ahead and ordered a Nintedo 3DS XL with Mario Kart included, should arrive sometime next week and I can set it up for online gaming so if anyone is up for a few battles, time zones allowing of course, then let me know and we can swap ID keycodes for a game, is it possible to have a private game with just 2 or 3 people or is it just random only, its been quite a while since I played it?

Im looking forward to this now and I might even get a few more games with it if i feel the magic
