I don't know where your library is located, gali, but I'd like to mention two things. My local library offers the latest eBooks free so I don't pay for them anymore. I can request books, magazines, DVDs, etc, for the collection because
a public library is driven by public demand. Make a suggestion and see what happens.

I live in Asia. My library doesn't hold ebooks either. :(

I do that and can order books as well , but they don't always have them in other branches.

Well, I manage just fine thanks to my Kindle. I also buy paper books as well. :)

My last visit to my local library was last Thursday when I returned 5 books & picked up 6 new reads. It's a brilliant resource which I visit probably ever two weeks or so. They have a superb website where I check that they have the book/s I want before my visit, I can put a hold on a book or ask them to order up a book from their subterranean vaults or from any public library in the country & I will get a text as soon as it is available for me to collect. I can also make a request that they purchase a particul book or series ... they may not always do it but I can ask.
They also have lovely comfy chairs if I want to sit & read for a few hours.

Our library system has a sticker that allows you to borrow from any number of libraries in the area. Our town library gets perhaps 40 new titles a month. A few miles away in a more...ahem...affluent suburb, the library must get more than double that in new books a month. Plus a huge used book trading area. I LOVE this library and go at least every other week.

I used to regularly visit the Library until I moved. Once we move back home, I'm sure I'll be visiting the Library often again.

I don't as much anymore, but I did when I was younger. I still enjoy the atmosphere of the library near my home.

At least weeky. Sometimes biweekly. Love to catch up on the periodicals and watch for the latest novel from my favorite authors.
