Trust me, I would love to do that. But I live an hour away from the nearest barnes and noble and that is the only major bookstore, if not the only bookstore, around here. So if I go to B&N's it's usually an all day thing.

Besides, there's no shipping fee for orders of $25+ on bn.com.

Lucky you!!!! I wish i was going on vacation. The closest thing i am getting to that is a weekend trip up north to my aunts cabin, although i am looking forward to it it is still to far away in the future.

I spent almost a month in europe with all these kids i didnt kno over the summer. we went to Italy, Austria, France, Germany, and Switzerland. i'll never forget it.

I've never been to Spain or the UK, which is where your from if i remember correctly, but i'd love to go to both.

My ambitious grandma told me she was going to take me to Europe when I graduate from high school. I hope she follows through!

With regard to the actual topic, there really wasn't anything that made me happy today. It was just another day in school....

ha we were supposed to be student ambassadors so we were all kids from Long Island supposedly "promotiong peace between nations," but most of the kids just wanted to have fun in Europe and see cool stuff like the eiffel tower without their parents following them around.

it was a little scary at first but by the middle of the trip i knew everyone, it was me and like 42 other kids with like three 20 year olds watching us who basically just were our friends too

yep. it was cool we went on like tours so we got to see all the important stuff like monuments and museums but then we could go out by ourselves in whatever town we were in and go shopping for hours and then meet back somewhere. oh and u get to ride a coachbus everywhere so that was sick. the downside is my mom is still paying for it

if you actually want to do alot of learning you'd probably want to do something more educational, most of the kids on my trip just wanted to chill and party.

A couple of years ago i went to the informational meeting about the trip to Austrailia and NE. It was just to much money for us to afford. I really wanted to go too. I hate being poor. How much was yours?

it was over 5,000 dollars and then i had to have money to buy extra stuff while I was there. for everything like clothes and luggage and all that it was like $7,000 dollars. im don't consider myself rich at all that was ALOT of money for her to give me, I even told her i wasnt going once I found out how much it was. but she said I had to go because she wanted me to experience something she never got to.

I'm not wealthy at all, but somehow i get alot of things i don't need like the new ipod that holds like 20,000 songs and a new cellphone that does all this insane stuff, and a new Mac laptop. my mom really loves me and im really thankful for everything shes done for me, not only the stuff shes bought me.
