Yeah it promotes and encourages reading particularly in children and teenagers. School children receive a book token which they can take to participating book stores and select a book (one of eight, again chosen specifically) absolutely free. It's a great concept. I remember getting these tokens in school.Ant wrote:World Book Day tomorrow, not entirely sure what it's supposed to mean, just to promote books and reading I guess, so that has to be a good thing right?

What a great idea. We need more days like this to really get the kids back into reading.RuqeeD wrote:Yeah it promotes and encourages reading particularly in children and teenagers. Sorry SKM, but I have exactly the same problem. Every time I change avatars I have exactly the same problem. I have to resize, cut and chop. There has to be an easier way.StephenKingman wrote:Anyone here know how i can post a new avatar picture without having to chop and change and reduce the size etc so it meets the measurement limits? I want a new one and have always found it a bit of a hassle and i notice a good few members have decent sized pics and im just wondering how they do it. Any advice is much appreciated thanks.
