A black and white Bichon Frise x Shih-Tzu named Sophie!

My dream dog is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Love those dogs!

We have a Boston Terrier by the name of Trouble, and boy does he live up to the name! This is our first Boston, and they are strong willed, sweet, and very stinky but I would not trade him for the world!

I have a mixed-breed, beast of a dog named Bruno. He's a bit of a handful sometimes (he was returned to the Humane Society three times by previous owners), but I like to think that he's just a misunderstood pup seeking unconditional love. :D

....and of course, I'm happy to oblige.

Two! Both are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. One of which was adopted through rescue, poor little guy was a breeding stud at a mill. He was horrified at first, now he's my shadow! Love them both!

My wife and I have an Australian cattle dog. It's fourteen. She raised it from a pup, so it's pathologically devoted to her. I've only been on the scene around four years. The dog loves me too, but his instincts keep him on alert against me. So the dog barks when I hug my wife, growls/barks when I enter the bedroom at night if the wife's already sleeping, etc. But he's a sweet old fella despite his daily grumblings.

That's such a beautiful story! I tend to root for the underdog...and isn't it a wonderful feeling when you turn misunderstood into happy and devoted...as the toy stuffing flies to the ceiling, Bruno sounds like a sweetheart :D

Something terrible has just happened to my darling dog :(
One of our neighbors has been baiting the birds that live in our backyard trees, (they eat meat)
and my poor dog ate some and had a seizure and had to go to the emergency vet. The whole family was in tears because he nearly died. It was rat poisoning and we had the police come to investigate and everything. There's been so many dead birds around and even some chickens being housed here. My neighbors dog unfortunately didn't make it and he died from poisoning.

Some people are so selfish they are blinded with ignorance :'( Very upset, although my dog is fine now. Two weeks later and he's back to normal. Although it was a harsh recovery and vet bill, he is also likely to have kidney and liver problems later in life ($$$) :\ Paying for other peoples disregard for nature. Pfftch.

I have a 16-year-old cockapoo (cocker spaniel/poodle) named Webster. Named after the Webster dictionary because my grandma declared that his eyebrows made him look like a wise professor, and after the Webster dust mop because his coat was a sorry matted mess when we brought him home. :) He's getting old, slowing down and moving more slowly, but still has bursts of wild puppy energy - especially when he comes back into the house after being out in the snow. Such a good and friendly boy!

If I could compose the perfect pack...there is a child's storybook character named McDuff who is a Westie, then a couple of Corgi's and then at least two AmStaff or AmBull's...need a way bigger yard
