Not real good. My new computer took a dump. It works sort of but its one of those *&^%$# Windows 8 garbage things and some things work and some dont. Its started downloading all kinds of crap and the anti-virus was going nuts trying to kick it off. I finally said to hell with it and put the SOB back in its box and am going to have 8 kicked off and go to 7. Luckily I have this old Mexican programed computer that works ok. Its kind of limited on some things, but it beats that other piece of s--t all to hell.

My day has been good but I had a major energy slump. Then I recovered.

Sorry to hear that. I use an old Vista I bought in '07. People complained at the time about the Vista. Maybe Windows' strategy was to make the newer models even worse, to take the heat off the Vista?

I'd return it too. I don't blame you.

Thats an old-timer. My mother had a Vista. It worked OK for her. The bastards probably get a lot of money on this new stuff, they pump everyone full of BS about how wonderful this new garbage is and the poor saps fall for it. What gets me they are always sending me crap to buy, they say its the latest thing, you cant get by without it. Thats a lie, I get by just fine.

Yeah, it is an old-timer. I'm probably the only person out there using a computer bought new in 2007.

I know what you mean. I get by without a lot of the new stuff, too. My cell phone does not have Internet, nor does it take pictures. It also does not have apps. :-o It can text, but I rarely text. Mostly, it just dials a phone number and connects me. Honestly, I miss my landline. I used to watch old reruns of Murder, She Wrote. The old, rotary-dial phone would ring and the sheriff would pick up. "Hello? Hold on. Jessica, it's for you." HA HA.

Well, I'm glad you have a stand-by computer until you replace the one you're returning! :-)

Great....of course I am only mid-way into my tea and pecan cookies. Best to ask me later.

Zelda, Im not going to return it, Im going to have it re-programed with windows 7. Its a good brand name, it just needs a better program. From the reviews Ive seen about Windows 8 most think it a piece of crap. From what I understand it mainly for I-pads and stuff like that. It dosent do well on the old style desktops.

The days just starting, later I may plant some tomato seeds.

Ohhhh, OK.

Ooh, tomato seeds! Fun.

My day is just starting too--slept really late. I'm making a mental to-do as we type.

Didnt get to plant tomato seeds. I got busy organizing stuff and trying to find a place to put my books. Finally got it done. I probably wont get to the tomatos for a few days, Ive got to hire my dingbat friend to clear out a garden spot.

Kind of annoying. I'm so hungry but food is not available to me yet, which makes me in a bad mood. :(

Having a good day just signed up to this book club and looking forward to reading some books! Only I'm supposed to find the introduction page or something and can't.

Not too bad. The water was off most of the day, but they got it fixed a few minutes ago. Had to use the little house out back a couple times, couldnt flush the toilet. The good old days.

So far so good. At this hour, I think that means the Keurig is functioning.
