A picture of the Mexican national emblem, an eagle eating a snake.

Onions are very healthy, they claim if you eat one every day you will never catch a cold. I also heard if you keep a raw peeled onion in your house, on a table of someplace it collects germs and bacteria. When it turns black, that means it is loaded with germs. Mexican onions are especially good, they are mild and flavorful like Walla Walla onions.

I'm guessing Walla Walla compares to our " Vidalia " onion here down south ( Vidalia, Georgia )...they're extra sweet...

Interesting, i've gotta try that " raw peeled onion " thingy...thanks for the tip...

A cap that looks like a bear's head.

Walla Walla has a special kind of soil that makes for good onions. Thats the town they liked so well they named it twice.

Current painting i'm working on ( shades of Cezanne ) but instead of apples, a still life w/3 perfect peaches, a vase of wild flowers from the garden, on a table covered w/a scarlet colored Damask table cloth...
