^ Whats even more unnerving is I tried to copy the image and the screen froze for ages, a total coincidence (I hope) but managed to scare me. I have to blot it out of my mind now....happy thoughts.

I didn't see it at first until Bighuey stated what it was. Very creepy - gave me chills! What do you think - somebody photoshopped it? The creepy look on the face is right up your alley isn't it Mike?

Cockroaches.... hate them and we grow them big here. Once I had one fly into the INSIDE of my jumper down the neckline. I was alone at the time, freaking out and trying to get the jumper of without anything touching me. I still have nightmares about it.

I have a long list of things that I fear...some are without reason, but some are because I read too much (or I read the wrong things)

I live in Philly and I am terrified that someone is going to attach me and kidnap/rape/torture/murder me.....especailly when I still had a car and had to walk to it at night (always had to look in the back seat)

But a real life scary story? My brother is a 911 operator and it was a stormy night when he was working. His wife noticed that the basement was flooding and since my brother was at work, called my parents to help her (seeing as how she had a two year old and was 7 months pregnant). My parents go over there in the middle of the night and are stopped by the cops and their car is searched.

They were looking for a fugutive who had just killed his daughter's mother, her new boyfriend and his four year old son. (He later killed his daughter's grandmother and kidnapped his own kid)

This all happened around my brother's house and he knew about it, but wasn't allowed to call his wife and check on his family. After my parents left their house, Amanda went to take the trash out and there was a S.W.A.T. truck that yelled at her to get back in the house and lock the doors.

That's scary.

Yikes, Becky! That's a little too scary.

I went out to a "known" haunted road, and....well, there's a bit of a backstory. Went to Aztalan (old Native American village/burial grounds...the entire tribe apparently abandoned the site abruptly for no reason...evidence of cannibalism was found later) first, then decided to hit Paradise road 'cause it was nearby. Li'l Red Rooster was driving, so we got lost. Well, no...we had bad directions. ANYway, instead of getting to the road at dusk (as planned) we didn't make it until it was totally dark...like, completely black. It's out in the middle of nowhere, like most of Wisconsin. And...I saw....something. Not sure what. Don't really want to know. This was on our second pass, 'cause I hid under the dash the first time. Wish I'd stayed there. I'm never ever ever going back after dark.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

This isnt really a haunted road, but on the highway to Ensenada the road goes around these tight curves and at one place theres a thousand foot drop almost straight down. No guard rails, accident memorials every half kilometer, that in itself is kind of scary. The speed limit is 25 kilometers per hour, but they tear around those curves twice that speed. One mistake and you would be screwed, blued, and tattooed. I have to take a change of underwear every time I travel that road.
