This game will not build vocabulary if we provide false definitions.

Xiphisternum does NOT mean sword.

As the saying goes you could look it up.

Bighuey, you threw away your Webster I see. If you don't check before posting, you get scolded here. Serves you right!

Xiphisternum - n. pl. xiph·i·ster·na (-n)
The posterior and smallest of the three divisions of the sternum, below the gladiolus and the manubrium. Also called xiphoid, xiphoid process.

It's a medical term, the lowest part of the Breastbone. Don't ever catch a doctor reading you saying its a sword unless you plan to take the Xiphisternum of some poor lab skeleton and use it in self Defence! A very odd behavior that would be! :(

rachitic - affected with, suffering from, or characteristic of rickets; "rickety limbs and joints"; "a rachitic patient"

I fear that if I don't top my daily calcium and vitamin intake, I may end up being a rachitic old lady.

A please

My kind of game...I can't get DH to play Scrabble or Boggle with me anymore because he says I use made up words. Qat is too a word...

Allegro - ADVERB
quickly: at a quick and lively tempo (used as a musical direction)
NOUN
piece of music played allegro: a piece of music, or a section of a piece, played allegro

An example of an allegro is the third movement of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8.

Attraction - allure, appeal

For us, it was never an attraction for each other ; it was rather a meeting of minds.

Attunement - Attunement is a form of energy medicine originally developed by Lloyd Arthur Meeker (1907 – 1954) and his colleagues.

Since I had my second level Reiki attunement, I feel more at peace with myself as my negative blocks have been removed miraculously.
