I'm from San Antonio, Texas, and I love it here because although the summers are very hot (90-100 degrees), the rest of the year is very temperate. I have a hard time with the cold, so I am in the right place.
But my family has taken several road trips over the past years, and I must say that so far my favorite place in the US is Durango, Colorado!
Maybe one day we'll get to travel abroad. I've only been out of the states a few times--mostly to Mexico, but once, for two years, the Philippines. I loved the weather there, too, except for the typhoons.

What part of Finland are you from? My grandparents and other relatives are from Bromarv Finland way in the south. I've never had the privilege of going there but my parents and brother did. They loved it as it is so much more of a simple life than here in the States.Heidi76 wrote:I´m from Finland, ok place I guess, like living in a freezer half the year, but so beautiful in the summer.
