Vodka beat my ass last time we danced....No more wodka for me.
I just bought "Stealing the Sacred Lamb".

No I'm ticketyboo again ... just one of those days, woke up with a blinding headache (not a hangover). But by going home time I was back to what passes for normal (good stuff that Lucozade!) & I did the shopping in Aldi this evening. Got lovely Tomato & Olive Oil Focaccia & an Italian Pinot Noir ... that's tonight sorted (mind you I could have the hangover tomorrow!)StephenKingman wrote:Ha, so its all the build up of the wine then! Do you remember the plastic wrapper round the glass bottles? God we used to love looking at the world through that crackly, colored plastic wrapping. The the plastic bottle arrived and ruined everything.StephenKingman wrote:^ Good stuff, just a rough day, know what you mean, isnt it mad how Lucozade was always the magic drink long ago! I remember people bringing a glass bottle to the sick in hospital, back before it was very popular. I got flat 7-UP or ginger ale for a dodgy tum
Innocent times & we were easily entertained

You can still get Macaroon bars .. but they're a lot smaller than they used to be (should have eaten enough of them when we had the chance!)
