Re: What made you happy today? (New)

So...the package was one of my very favorite movies. Used, as that's the only way you can get it, and it is usually unbelievably expensive (upward of 70$ is typical, and again, for a used dvd).

About a week ago, something made me look at it, and it was so much cheaper, and I happened to have almost the perfect amount in gift card balance.

It came in Wednesday, I got to check it today. It works! I have it, and it works! It's pristine!

I last watched this movie nearly a decade ago (which should provide a clue as to exactly how much I love this movie...I do not typically keep track of how long ago I watched something). Prior to that, I am not sure when I last got to watch it. I have kept watch on the price (consistantly more than I could excuse paying), and I fully believed I would never see it again.

And now, it's mine. 8) :happy-wavemulticolor: :happy-sunny: :happy-smileyinthebox: :happy-partydance: :happy-jumpyellow: :happy-cheerleadersmileyguy: :happy-jumpeveryone: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncycyan: :happy-bouncyyellow: :happy-bouncyshadowgreen: :happy-bouncyred: :happy-bouncymulticolor: :happy-bouncymagenta: :happy-bouncygreen: :happy-cheerleadersmileygirl: :happy-cheerleaderkid:

I know this probably seems like I'm way overreacting, but I don't even care.
I can watch one of my very favorite movies, that I was convinced would forever be out of my reach, whenever I want! :text-woo:

It is a story of realistic love (the good, the bad, and the ugly  ), told through a fantasy.
It's about love, but it's so much more about what love makes you sacrifice for the other.

And I love it.
