If you could choose what would you most want to be.
A great painter
A great musician
A great writer
A great architect
A great sculptor
A great Poet
...and why?
When I say great I mean hundreds of years from now people still recognize your art.
When you're grateful to them for giving you the things you should already have anyway, ask yourself why."

They sure are, the quote was an instinctive reaction to SKM's construction ambitions!

For me, as long as I value and love what I create that is primary and key. Worked in the fine arts, performing and visual for 20 years. Toured Europe, etc. Written for stage.. Thing is.. Over the years I learned is.. I will always create. Regardless. There will always be someone who doesn't like your work, or think you are great. Do you honor and value it? I do. That's why I kept at it. The 'value' from others is icing on the cake, and rewards. But, the best reward is the journey as an artist. Whether that be a writer, painter, etc.
In my next life I would love to be an Architect. Or installation artist. These are two forms of art that I dearly love. Some of my favorite 'artists' fall in this category.
