I was just wondering, it seems like everyone I meet nowadays has at least one. And I just heard a statistic that approximately 40% of Americans have at least one
Yay counter-culture haha!!!
So do you have any tattoos? Are you planning on getting one? What are you general opinions on body art/modification??

I have one, a Far Side cow on my back, above my left shoulder blade. I got it almost 15 years ago now, and I still love it.
I hope to get two more yet. I want a pink heart on the inside of my right forearm, and a flower and butterfly design on the top of my left foot.
I love ink, I find it incredibly sexy on men too. And there is nothing like that "loving itch" of a newly healing tattoo!

I don't have any tattoos right now. I have been contemplating getting 'Carpe Diem' in script on my wrist.
It would be cool, but the pain and the possible risks deter me from it.

I used to want one really bad but i dont think that i would be able to go through with it. i tend to chicken out on a lot of things. like rollarcoasters and other things. i've heard that if you get one you become addicted but i have a fear that i might regret getting it. my older brother has a bunch and he regrets them all the time. especially when he is trying to find a job.

I have about 35 tattoos in all, most of them are on my left arm and are building towards a full sleeve piece, they are all from comics by Roman Dirge, mostly Lenore though. The others are the letter Q on my right inner arm and 'No One Knows' on my right inner wrist. A star on my left ankle and a black dragon at the base of my spine.
I have 7 piercings. 1 lip, 1 right nostril and the rest my ears.
I love being tattooed. Its my second favourite thing after reading
I have lots more i'd like, when my sleeve is complete I intend to get V from 'V is for Vendetta' tattooed on my right thigh.

The last one is an illustration from Tim Burton's book of poetry, The Melancholy death of Oyster boy. The poem is called Voodoo Girl.
Her skin is white cloth,
and she's all sewn apart
and she has many colored pins
sticking out of her heart.
She has many different zombies
who are deeply in her trance.
She even has a zombie
who was originally from France
But she knows she has a curse on her,
a curse she cannot win.
For if someone gets
too close to her,
the pins stick farther in.

I enjoy looking at other people's tats..
I've thought about it in the past though.. I've contemplated getting Uroboros or a Buddhist Wheel..
I don't think I will though.

Those sound nice. I'm not, I love looking, but me myself I really just want my own skin.
