Movie title game

Post by Bighuey »

I saw this on another forum. Its a fun one. Take a movie title, remove one letter and make it a different word, then pitch the result. for instance, Brining Up Baby-A zombie Thanksgiving.

McKennas God- A sheriff looks for gold in the desert with various other sinners and gets religion.
Ear Window- After a devastating head injury, a woman dedicates herself to aiding science by providing views of her living brain.
This should liven things up a bit.

Prisoner of Zen (I'd like permission to bend the rules a little)
Starring Marron Blando. Marron(well it is about Zen. They have trouble with their "l"s and "r"s) go to Tibet to
eat fish heads and lice and study Zen. He forget about Zen and ony eat fish heads and lice. He get tired of diet
and try to reave. Dari Rama say no, you stay tell you know Zen. That 4 years ago. Marron still there. He prisoner
of Zen. Kong Bang Wa.

MAS
The story of a crazy bunch of nurses and surgeons sewing up soldiers during a War in Mexico. MAS, Spanish for more,
is also an acronymn standing for Machos and Senoritas. The light-hearted romp follows the misadventures of the Machos and Senoritas, who don't really care about the anatomies of the wounded, but can't get enough of each others
anatomies. What do the Machos and Senoritas want? MAS!!!

The Oddfather
Tells the story of the boss of a Mafia crime family who suffers a stroke on the day of his daughters wedding. He
never fully recovers and wanders around Sicily in his underwear talking to himself and asking inanimate objects
the most bizarre questions. Soon, he's the laughing stock of Sicily. He is eventually dubbed The Oddfather. The
highlight of the film, IMO, is his insistence that a donkey he befriends marry the town's most notorious prostitute who
has been dead for three years and is interred in the towns cemetary. During the ceremony he forgets who is who
and kisses the donkey instead of the prostitute, thus confirming the rumor that he really didn't know his ass from a
Ho' in the ground.

Donnie Brasso with Al Packin and Johnny Dip
Story of real life FBI Agent Joe Pistoff and his infiltration of the Bannanas Crime Family in the late 70's. Dip plays
Pistoff who befriends real-life Mafia hit man, Lefty Rugmerchant. BTW, Pistoff's mob alias is actually a reference
to his job prior to becoming an FBI agent. He made commercials for a number of domestic cleaning products, Brasso
being one of them. He said Brasso was his favorite because he got to say the line "It'll shine anything folks, even
the brass b**ls on that brass monkey you've got buried somewhere in your attic." He's quite a character. To his Mob
pals he's Donnie Brasso because his favorite method of persuasion, a pair of brass knuckles, is always kept in mint
condition with his favorite cleaning product. He's quite a character. He even listens to old Leo Gorsey tapes to get
his wiseguy Brooklyn accent down. I'd like to tell you what the movie's about, but I'm no rat, see. That's not something
I'd do, see. Go see it for yourself, see.

Forrest Gum Tom Hanks plays a loveable rube who goes to dental school after returning from Vietnam. He graduates
with honors and specializes in Periodontal Dentistry, the care and treatment of the gums. He is enormously successful,
especially after dropping the letter "P" from his last name.

Aging Bull Robert Diet(Not) Joe Fleshy Sly Stoner Burt Rung
It's 2025 and at least 3 months since Sly Stoner made his last "Rocky"
masterpiece "Rocky 73". After watching the latest offering in TV
Reality Shows, Oldest Losers, Stallone(Stoner is just his street name, dude)
realizes he's just been given a great idea for Rocky 74. The Oldest Loser that
week is none other than Jake LaMotta, The Raging Bull. Jake is now 92, morbidly
obese(in fact, he hasnt seen his toes in 12 years. He's that fat), still obnoxious,
and living in a Pacer his brother Joey(played by Joe Fleshy) bought him
for his last birthday. Jake has hit rock bottom. Stallone decides to cast LaMotta(who'll be
played by Robert Diet) as a an unknown, down-on-his luck senior living in a Pacer at a junk
yard in New Jersey, owned and operated by Rocky's ex brother-in-law Burt Rung. Jake chose
the Pacer because they stopped making them 20 years ago and the chances of anybody buying
the seats(his bed and chaisse lounge, weather permitting, are real remote). Stallone sells the
idea to Jake and hires him as a gaffe and the heavy bag in the gym scenes. Unfortunately, on
the very first day of production, a cop, whose been hired as an extra to play a cop eating donuts,
recognizes Jake whose wanted on several outstanding warrants, and arrests him. While in jail
waiting to be arraigned, he's knifed by another inmate whose angry at LaMotta for not giving
him an autograph. And that's the end of The Aging Bull.

Death of An Ale Man
Mickey Rourke plays a drunk(Ale Man), whose really an alcholic, but has no time for the meetings.
Rourke, who played Charles Bukowski, in Barf? Oh Aye, reprises that role as a loveable Mick on
a three year bender in Limerick, Eire. The movie is so bad that I fell asleep after the opening credits.
I stole this review from an old Herb Caen review of "The Days of Wine and Roses" starring Jack Lemmon
as an alcoholic who has plenty of time for the meetings, but doesnt go because they wont let him drink
at the meetings. Now that's a Revoltin Development. Oh, Aye.

The Cane Mutiny A spoof of the Bogie classic. Cane is a reference to the age of the mutineers, most
of them in their 70's and 80's and using canes to keepfrom falling overboard. The ship's captain, Captain Queen,
is a conflicted Mama's boy who never resolved The Oedipal Complex and whose OCD(obssessve-compulsive disorder)
usually manifests itself when he dons his Roaring 20's Swim Suit and terrorizes the crew and passengers with an angry,
shrill rendition of The Pirates of Penzance. His performance takes almost 2 days, because he insists on playing all the parts himself and changing into a different costume for each part. After two years of this, the passengers, who thought
they were going on a luxury liner to several islands in Micronesia, stage a mutiny AND tbc.....(They're actually lucky
they never got to the Islands. Most of them were used by the US to test nuclear weapons and will be radioactive probably until the US elects a Negro as President or women are allowed to vote, neither one of which is very likely.)Right?
