"Let's write a new story" game

Here's an idea. I will start a story. I will write one line. You can write another line to move the story forward. We used to play this game in school. It gets hilarious!

For example,

I write: "It was raining cats and dogs and the night air was biting my fingers off!"

You can add: "I was so thankful the bus stop was nearby, so I huddled over to it."

The next person can carry it onwards. You can reply again after the next thread.

I can add again: "I sat down inside the covered bus stop and was glad that I only had to wait for a few minutes for the bus."

Here goes....

"I really loved the scent of donuts in this cafe!"

To prove how serious he was, his pamphlets were hand-written with plant extract ink on banana leaves, since he was anti paper.

How he got the banana leaves is a fascinating story in itself. He lives in Norway, and as the climate there in not great for bananas so he went to the jungles of South America and had to fight disease, savages, wild animals. He finally cut a deal with some head hunters to trade banana leaves for heads. That started him on a whole new project. Now he's armed with a machete collecting heads.
