I have always wanted a Triumph Spitfire, but alas, it wasn't to be. We did own a little Datsun for a bit, but I couldnt' drive it cause I only drive automatic shifts.

After you'd mentioned it i was googling the Triumph Spitfire, a car we owned that just died 1 day on the highway...i used to love the " a la James Bond very kool pop-up headlights " only to read that " they were considering it but it never went into production " balderdash!...trust me, i wasn't hallucinating...
To me, all the new cars look alike today...big, boxy, and ugly...i wouldn't drive an S.U.V. if you paid me...they all have that " too big in the booty " look in the back...
What happened to long, low, and sexy?...i recently attended my grandsons birthday party..the driveway was lined w/the obligatory black S.U.V.'s....it looked like a military instillation rather than a private residence...
i never had the desire to drive any kind of " truck " especially one that you needed a ladder to climb into

sexiest car i've ever driven was a Jag 2x2...long , low and lean, like a cat

too bad i don't have an opinion...
Carpe Diem!
