I already did that :lol2:
The scariest part is that not even googling it did I get to the answer
My goodness!
It didn't display any horror movies when I was creating the riddle, but now that I'm looking it up again, all I can find are horror movies. I don't know what to say anymore. 😕

I'll give you all a couple additional hints:

1. The film's title consists of two words. The first word is spelt differently, but it sounds the same as the name of a famous female chemist and physicist who contributed in finding cure for cancer (her name starts with M). The 'answer' is right there in the movie's poster.

2. The 'answer' is so wildly arbitrary that practically everyone has 2-3 of it in the house. Just think about something that serves as protection for human and has a canopy or structure similar to one.

Yess!! The movie is Mary Poppins, and the answer is indeed UMBRELLA.

:congratualtions-smiley: @DATo for finally guessing the answer right. 🎉 :greetings-clappingorange: :greetings-clappingyellow: :greetings-clappingorange:  🎉

Now it's your turn.

PS- Two of the clues in the riddle were just to make the 'answer' look like it's something important, but in reality, the canopy is the only clue that we needed to guess the 'answer'😅. Hope you find the riddle enjoyable.

That's a great guess. But it's something more common, done in normal homes nowadays.

Not wallpapering. It's something even kids dabble with.

Being somewhat ignorant of the affairs of the prepubescent variety of the human species other than having on numerous occasions personally observed in them in behavior reminiscent of curly, dimpled, lunatics I cannot make a connection to the riddle in that regard. I do know that honey was used as part of the embalming process of Egyptian mummies, but that apparently is not germane to the answer. The three immediate attributes of honey that come to mind are: sweetness, a viscosity which might render it useful as a glue, and its ability to remain edible despite the ravages of time as becomes all other organic matter as evidenced by the lack of an expiration date printed on all bee hives.

I shall "endeavor to persevere" in my quest to solve the puzzle, but at the moment it has me swizzled.

You are right about honey's ability to bind things together. And it's still used in fancy [art supply/art style]
