Creative Writing for Dog Lovers

We did this on a dog site one time and got some very fanciful answers to the question, "If Your Dog Was a Human?".
If your dog was a human how would they look, how would they dress, what kind of voice would they have, what job would they do, would they have a family?

My Sophie would be middle aged with sad eyes and a grey streaked bob. She'd probably be single, soft spoken, somewhat neurotic. She'd always have tranks and tummy medications in her purse for her nerves. She might have a career as a teacher in a private school. Not the most social with adults, she has a special gift for interacting with young children.

Callie would look like a heavyset Dennis Leary. He'd definitely be a man's man. Probably a firefighter with a big family. He'd have a voice like Marlon Brando in The Godfather. He'd be excellent at his job, have a great many close buddies with his easygoing nature. He'd also be fearless and fiercely protective of his men and his family.

Who would your dog be?

You know they say pets take on the characteristics of their owners

Actually I just remember seeing on the net onetime a whole lot of people and their pets & it was amazing how many owners looked very like their pets. Wish I could remember where I saw it.

I think maybe it's the other way around sometimes. We pick critters subconsciously that embody our personalities. Part of me shivers at confrontation like Sophie. Then there's another side that can take on the world like Callie...I definitely see a connection. :D
