Where is it safe to post your website?

Post by Paliden »

I have what might be considered a strange question. I often see things on websites telling people not to post their website. Where is it safe to post it? I don't have fb or twitter and it seems like outside of that, you are likely to be in trouble if you post your website anywhere else. I don't like it when people just post it again and again but I don't mind if someone really has something good and they just post a quick note on it. Thoughts?

Personally I think you should treat it like your postal address. You wouldn't post your home address so all and sundry can access it so why would you treat your e-mail address any different? I am ultra careful where I post my personal email but I have a generic gmail address that I use for public type interactions.
