I don't know if its just me being weird but I am never comfortable reading at nigh. My night light is too bright and when I try reading I am always struggling to find a comfortable spot with the right amount of light on it!!

How do you get comfortable at night?

I can't relate with that—it doesn't matter to me how bright or dim the light is at night, I'll still read if I feel like it. Are you maybe trying to achieve a certain vibe?

The question should really be, " How do you sleep at night when you haven't finished reading your book?"

Just change you light. I always like to read something before going to sleep. It is far better thing to read a book before sleeping than spending time on your smartphone or computer.

I use my kindle paperwhite and that way it doesn't matter what the lighting is like in my room. I used to turn my phone flashlight on next to my bed and that seemed to do the trick if I was just sitting up in bed. They do have reading lights you can clip on or attach to your bed/wall that might work.

I tuck myself in bed, turn off all the lights and read with my kindle on dark mode. Just put the kindle on the side table when you feel sleepy.

Well, first you position the book properly and that takes a couple pages;) then you read until your eyes get uncomfortable and you get drowsy. Now it's time to put the book down. And then the biggest trouble, who's going to switch off the lights!

I have like a little lamp that you can sort of attach it to the back of the book, which I use. It's fairly dimmed light. It can be a little heavy for a small book, though, but it's kind of nice! Otherwise, I did use to read with a e-reader which also came in handy.

I love reading at night. It's usually so silent. No factor distracts me.

My only problem is having to hold the kindle with my hand while I am comfortably tucked in. Wish there was a stand which also flips to the next page without needing me to move my hands.

Reading at night, my favorite time to read, a head lamp works well for this. At night, it’s quiet, no interruptions and the cell phone can get turned off with no guilt associated with that act. I leave my closet light on sometimes to help with sight, but the reader or iPad provide all the light I need.
