CERTAIN BIRTHDAYS AND WHAT COMES WITH THEM

Post by Abigail09 »

I celebrated my Birthday two weeks ago.
It was great. There were mixed feelings. Here is why:

I had been having late night thoughts before then; like reflections.
As you would have noticed,
If you have come across my posts on this platform,
They are mostly about LOVE.
I am a lover of LOVE; a big one.
But presently, I am not participating in that activity.
This is because it takes a lot.
I want to be in love .. right.
But the whole process of meeting someone new, getting to know each other and hopefully developing feelings.
After going through the process severally, it just stresses and worries me out that I might have to do the process again.
It doesn't mean I have given up on love,
I actually cannot.

So, Birthdays come with reflections like ' I'm a year older' 'I'm yet to do this and that' 'I might actually stop talking to some people to avoid them asking certain questions.
Questions like ' do you have someone?'
Believe me, it comes with certain Birthdays
Love, if only one could skip some parts.
I would take rides for those wishes.

Have you experienced the 'certain birthdays and the things that come with them'?
Would you prefer to skip parts and jump right into being love or you just want the process?

Yes! I have experienced the ‘certain birthdays and everything that comes with them’ recently. It was not pleasant but I believe necessary. Today I would want the process of love, tomorrow I may just want to jump right into being in love. It truly depends on my mood.
