Think about what you've learnt in your life time, that's both good and bad.If you could give young you advice to get you through your life what would you want you to know? Please enjoy then share it around.

I would probably say something like.. "don't eat all those M&M's" and also: "smile and go easy on yourself because, although you don't know it yet; you are going to meet a wonderful person soon, get married and have 2 great kids". :)

Try harder with my siblings when we were younger so that it would make things easier when we got older. I was the youngest of 4 and the only girl, so it wasn't easy.

I'd also tell myself to spend the extra money and take more vacations and do more with my kids while they're younger to make more memories. They grow up too fast and it gets harder to manage with their schedules as they grow.

That it's okay to say no and there's no reason to feel guilty about it and don't let others make you feel guilty about saying no.

I am 21 years old, I would tell my younger self to work harder and realize my potential because right now I feel like I could have been so much more if only I had put in more work.
Regret when you know your potential is worse than when you don't know your potential.
But now I know and I grind and hustle all I can.

Stop people pleasing. Be highly selective who you spend your time with. You are smarter than you think.

I will advise my younger self to create joy every day. Don't dwell on negativities, find ways to smile and be happy.

At 21 I chose to buy a fancy car instead of using it on a house deposit. Big mistake took me another 8 years to be in a position to buy a house and prices were doubled by then.
We've longed to see the roses, but never felt the thorns
And bought our pretty crowns, but never paid the price
Find me in the river, find me there
Find me on my knees with my soul laid bare

For me, it's pretty basic advice, but don't let the opinions of others influence what you do or who you are. Things will fall into place with time, and you have to be patient enough to trust the process of growing up and growing into your own. It will come.

I have reverse advice- I could have gotten away with so much more sh*t in high school, and now I'm stuck in the adult world where fighting in the cafeteria is now assault and talking back to authority gets you fired. Oh well, at least I'm not in jail.
