Do You Wear Fragrance?
I have a whole collection from CVS specials up to Chanel, just whatever I grab first in the morning. My two favorites though are Burberry Weekend and Angel. Feel bad for our HR person at work. She's highly allergic to anything airborne. I have to talk to her from the doorway...perfume and pet dander...poor thing starts wheezing just looking at me.

I'd like to wear them every day - but I often forget to put them on.

Anyone remember " Evening in Paris " from the 60's? that was my fave then...also, Topaz from Avon...( still have the tall yellow skinny bottle )...i think we always remember the scent we were using when we first met our partners, it has special significance, am i wrong ?
My all time fave " Crepe de Chine " was discontinued ( first discovered it in Paris on my honeymoon )
My fave scent is " Gardenia "...my fave flower...never found a perfume tho that could translate this astounding scent w/o interfering w/it's rich but delicate properties, somehow it's more often than not transmuted into a saccharine sweet, over flowery and cheap " drug store " type fragrance...UNTIL
Perlier /Alaria, an Italian co, sold on HSN/TV...PERFECT translation from flower to bottle...
Also love their version of Freesia, Lavendar, Jasmine, Tuberose, etc...
Yves Roche, for my 2nd fave floral fragrance,...LILAC...
Carpe Diem!

I have a knockoff of "Euphoria" and people always mention it through the day, the real stuff must be incredibleElla wrote:Euphoria by Calvin Klein. Love it.
Suzi, Amazing! Something we agree on

My first two perfumes were Love's Baby Soft and Ciara. Baby Soft is a bit too cloying now like baby powder and cotton candy, but Ciara is still beautiful. Anything by Chanel...on my wish list next is Coco

Suzi, Amazing! Something we agree onthe smell of gardenia is glorious. When I worked in the garden section over the summer we got a whole table of gardenia plants. I was so enchanted by the smell I have body wash, lotion and perfume in that scent. Like you say though, nothing comes close to the flower itself.

L.B., trust me we have more similarities than differences! i betcha if we met each other in the REAL world we'd be friends, all we'd hafta do is avoid certain subjects LIKE THE PLAGUE.....

Carpe Diem!

Slight balance of musk and vanilla, sandalwood, cherry pipe tobacco, maybe a hint of chocolate...complex
