Audiobook or Book?

I've always been curious, do you prefer the audiobook or the book if given a choice. Me, it depends on the narrator, but frequently I'll read along with the audio. Or, if I'm in my car, I'll listen to the book and then, as soon as I'm able to read the same book, pull out the book as well.

I prefer a book. I find it hard to concentrate on audio and I enjoy reading more. .

Books definitely! I feel like I have a hard time retaining what I heard about the book. Plus I find reading much more enjoyable.

I have exactly the same prob with audio books - my mind just goes meandering & I end up having to replay chapters over and over. Never happens with a book or with my kindle.

I also tend to meander mind wise, but it works great when I'm at work or driving.

No I don't like audio.
Have done online courses and there is an audio voice reading to you - I turn it off and just read writing myself.
Haven't tried an audio book. I just have music in the car.
However I can see how audio books are great for those with vision problems - but unless my eye sight gets that bad, I'll stick to actual reading.

Book however I got an audio book to listen to whilst having eye surgery (awake) and it was well worth it
