Anybody else on here do it?
I started doing it last year and am just starting to see any good amount of savings on my grocery trips.

I have gotten to the point I love doing it just not the time it takes to put lists together. I have a cousin that is really good at it. She makes me jealous.

My daughter in law does the extreme version and they do save a lot I'm sure. I always forget where I put them when I need them. However at the supermarket I would prefer people with more than three or four coupons to find a manager to ring them up privately...waiting in line while they sort coupons for thirty bottles of shampoo...you want to hurt them

I have never tried the extreme couponing the most I have saved between my savings card for that grocery store and my coupons which are never more than 6 have saved me 70 dollars plus I use the phone savings apps now that will tack your savings on separately and let you transfer the money to paypal or a check, that saves a lot of time and makes check out a lot faster. I don't have the patience or the smarts for extreme couponing.

I will take what I can get though.

Not as much now, it seems there are more restrictions on them...they rarely double now (here anyway), no combining, etc. But at times I come across a few good ones.

I have a friend who posts pictures on FB of a bunch of stuff and says "I only paid $4 for this!"
I have no idea how she does it. Maybe I just don't have the patience. Lol. I do use "club cards" and buy in bulk when on sale but coupons seem to get lost in my world.

If youre really dedicated and put in a bit of hard work you can save a lot with coupons. I use them sometimes when I think of it.

I watch extreme couponing often. I love using coupons, but I don't sit down and plan it out. Also, most extreme couponers have a room in their house dedicated to food storage.... I don't have that lol. I think this is a great idea for when the zombie apocalypse happens though! :*)

I don't personally do it but my family does. It's very true, you save a lot doing it.

Cheryl I love watching extreme couponing. While I would love to learn I don't have the space or the patience. I write out my grocery list the day I go and I always go to at least two stores but the most I have saved is about a 100 doing that which is still good.
LoveMusic__AK it has proven very helpful on a tight budget with a hubby and 2 kids.

@TrishaAnn92 I would lovee to as well. I think my husband and I save a decent amount. We prefer to shop for deals and since we're military, shopping at the commissary is the BEST!!

I loved shopping at the commissary when my husband was still enlisted. He was Marines. We save a decent amount but to get a huge amount in savings just once would be awesome!!

I used to coupon all the time. But we've made a concerted effort to be a self sustaining farm family now and the only things I really purchase in the grocery are staples like flour, sugar, and salt. I guess I've traded my couponing time for canning time.

I just recently started a garden with a few fruits, veggies, and herbs to try and cut down some costs. Unfortunately I live in a town home so I don't have much I can really do.
