I would love nothing more than to counsel teenagers and young adults. I'm studying this in school right now, and have always had a fascination for psychology. I am drawn to that age range, because during that time in my life, was when I needed the most guidance and I would love nothing more than to be able to pay it forward. What's yours?

That's a beautiful path! It's really touching, the fact that you want to help others as your profession, specially for personal reasons! I do wish you the best! :)
As for me, I'm not really sure yet. Maybe something related to letters really.

That's awesome! Go forward! Just don't sing in the rain: it's bad for your voice. Wish all the best! :)

I thought being a Medical Assistant was it for me but once I came upon book Reviewing and Copy Editing that's what I really want to delve deeper into.

@RisingDownfall,

I wanted to be a counselor a few years back as well. Now, that dream has turned somewhat into another one. In 2010, I took my first trip to Italy. The History and the culture there was nothing like I could ever imagine. I did not know what to do with the experience when I returned home, but it is coming together now. I started classes in my university for History with a focus on European history. The idea is to lead college students in Italy (thus, the history degree), and use the stories of history to help people with their lives. I want to help speak with them while on our trip, and also have follow-up meetings with each person soon after returning home. There are so many things about Italy that can help people better themselves in regards to character and life goals in general.
So, that's me… I loved reading your dreams as well. It is what makes everyone unique. :D

I'm on my path to my dream job right now, actually =). I want to be a doctor. I've had a little conflict in the past about what exactly I wanted to do, and more specifically self-confidence with it, but I've gone through a lot recently. I know without a doubt that I can do this and it is precisely what I should be doing...I can't imagine anything else.

And thinking I was expecting answers such as "I have no idea..." or "Never thought about..." XD
You all should also consider writing a book telling your story! The way you commit to your dreams it's really inspiring!
Thank so much for sharing your experiences! :)

Thanks for saying so! I want to turn that around right back at you. Like I said, dreams are what make us all unique. So, yours is different than anyone else's. It will be inspiring to people even if you don't have all the details figured out. :-)

I have had some pretty neat jobs as a coroner assistant, veterinary technician and we farm as well. My dream job is professional musher, to be able to spend all my time with the dogs would be perfection. Librarian is a close second choice for me.
