Cheese at Book Club Events

I want to be up front and say I work for Artisanal Cheese (artisanalcheese com)
We put together several great collections of artisan cheeses that I think would be great compliments to a book club meeting. If the book club is at your house you just order a cheese platter and pick up some wine and you have a delicious ensemble.
I'm curious to know what people generally serve at book club meet ups?

The only book club I attend is this one right here. So if you guys would start providing me with cheese, that would be nice.

From what I understand there's no cheese in Japan, am I wrong ? they're not so big on dairy products...

Cheese is becoming bigger these days, surprisingly. But it's expensive. And not the kind of cheese like we are used to. It's always white (they hate the idea of "colorful" foods here, period) and super bland. No sharp cheese anywhere.

I'd just as soon eat NO cheese than a bland one...( all that tastes like is a block of salty grease ) UUUGGHH...
I recently had the DISPLEASURE of sampling some " non-sharp " cheddar, it reminded me of how candle-wax would taste...
With the exception of a few milder ones that are of SUPERIOR quality and have much " personality " like, Brie and Camembert, Muenster too because of the sour after note...

I agree. Just thinking about "bland" cheese.. uggh! I take my cheese very seriously..

We do not let bland cheese cross the border into Wisconsin so I do not have to worry about that.

Mmm cheese at book clubs sounds great. I'd be all for a club with a cheese, meat and cracker platter and drinks.
