Quirkyalone... Anybody heard of it? Apparently it's not in the dictionary on this site, because it's underlined in red. It's the word for someone who is happy to be single until he or she finds the perfect "one." I think they could have come up with something a little less... quirky... for us single folks, but...

Verisimilitude is one I like to use often... I like the way it rolls off my tongue and I think the fact that it describes something incredibly simple makes it all the more pleasurable to say. Besides, it's very closely linked to writing, so...

My mom used to use large words in conversation with my sister and me when we were little in an attempt to broaden our vocabulary. It worked. When I was around four or so, I told my sister that throwing pillows off a couch was "unnecessary and inappropriate behavior." My mom thought it was really cute, but my grade school teachers didn't. She received several phone calls a month about my unwillingness to simply allow them to read stories during "circle time" without their need to fear having their pronunciation corrected in front of the class. This is just to say, "I like your style."
