[Time Sensitive!] Turn on Post Notifications for OnlineBookClub.org on Facebook, Twitter, and IG (Instructions Included)

Post by Scott »

In the next few days, I will be doing some surprise giveaways on Facebook like this in which the first few people to comment will win a prize.

You can literally win cash prizes by simply being first to comment on a post.

To have the best chance of winning, you will want to make sure you both (1) follow OnlineBookClub.org on Facebook and (2) follow me (Scott) on Facebook.

Important: You will also want to set us both as "favorites" on Facebook, and turn on post notifications for both the OnlineBookClub Facebook Page and for my personal profile on Facebook.

Setting OnlineBookClub to Favorites on Facebook's Mobile App:

Step 1-- Go to OnlineBookClub's Facebook page.

Step 2-- Click the three dots on the right side of the screen.

Step 3-- Click "Manage Follow Settings".

Step 4-- Under "News Feed", change the setting from to "Favorites".

Step 5-- Go back one screen, and under "Notifications" set "Posts" to "Standard"; Set Videos to "All Notifications"; and set Live videos to "All Notifications".

Setting OnlineBookClub to Favorites on Desktop Version of Facebook:

Step 1-- Go to OnlineBookClub's Facebook Page at:
https://www.facebook.com/onlinebookcluborg

Step 2-- Click the three dots ("...") in the upper right near the like and message buttons.

Step 3-- Click "Follow Settings".

Step 4-- Under "News Feed", change the setting from to "Favorites".

Step 5-- Under "Notifications", set "Posts" to "Standard"; Set Videos to "All Notifications"; and set Live videos to "All Notifications".

Once you have completed the above, you will want to follow a similar procedure to go to my Facebook profile (Scott Hughes) and also set me as a favorite and turn on post notifications for me because I will do some of the giveaways from my profile and some from the OnlineBookClub Facebook Page.

Tip, make sure you follow me on Facebook first before you attempt to set me to favorites. Needless to say, you presumably won't be able to edit the follow settings if you don't already follow me.

If you have trouble turning on post notifications with the instructions above, please reply stating whether you are using Facebook's mobile app or the desktop version of Facebook, and please specify which step of the five is the one giving you trouble. If possible, please also include a screenshot.

Turning on Post Notifications for Twitter:

If you use Twitter, you will also want to turn on Tweet notifications by clicking the bell icon in the upper-right for both twitter.com/scottmhughes and twitter.com/twbookclub.

Turning on Post Notifications for Instagram:

If you use Instagram, you will also want to turn on notifications for Instagram posts, stories, videos, and reels, by clicking the upper-right bell icon at both instagram.com/scott_hughes/ and instagram.com/OnlineBookClub/.

Follow on Minds and Reddit Too

For additional chances to win, make sure to follow me on Minds and join the OnlineBookClub Subreddit.

With differing time zones this seems like a worthwhile challenge. ๐Ÿ˜
