Dirt. Loose dirt. I ordered a book online once, and when it came in the mail, I opened it, and it was filled with dirt. As though it had been in someone's garden. And the listing had said the book was in like-new condition.

Normally I give online sellers a head's up, but in this instance, I just left bad feedback. Very bad feedback. And the seller was like, "Why didn't you contact me? I'd have tried to make the situation right!"

I second that. Mouse poo between the pages would get me to quit turning, even for my favorite authors.
