What Scene Stays With You? (Movie/T.V. Edition)

I started one for books but as a movie lover I want one for that too.
Hopefully there are some movie/T.V. lovers in here other than me.
So if you have a favorite scene or just one that sticks in your head tell us about it.
One for me is from Gypsy83
Gypsy and Clive driving to New York.
They exit the tunnel and the city is spread out before them.
This scene comes after some major hardships for them and it's an uplifting hopeful moment.
It was filmed beautifully and I love it.
So what's yours?

It's kind of a weird one.
The movie Shallow Hal. Okay, yes, I know, not the greatest movie in the world.... but the scene where he goes to the children's hospital and realizes that the kids he visited before were all in the burn unit and yet he still called the little girl "beautiful" like he did when he only saw her inner beauty. It makes me cry every time.

" Splendour in the Grass " A visit from Natalie Wood to her ex-love Warren Beatty years after their relationship...( read the poem, " Splendour in the Grass " by Wm. Wordsworth )...
This extraordinarily heartfelt scene has never failed to rip my heart right out of my chest..." unrequited love " gets me every time...

For me the movie was The Departed by Martin Scorsese. In the last scene where everyone just dies left and right. It shocked me to the core. i wasn't expecting that at all and all I could think was "Why?"

Citizen Kane: Opening shot, the close-up/fade from the "No Trespassing" sign to the lighted window in the mansion (Xanadu). In the series of fades the position of the window on the screen never changes.
Also, when Kane dies and drops the glass globe, and we see the nurse come through the door through the broken globe on the floor.
Absolutely brilliant camera work by Gregg Toland.

Oh Lord yes .. that scene really upsets my sister.
Another one that comes to mind:
The russian roulette scene from The Deer Hunter - I've seen that movie so many times & every time I have my heart in my mouth at that scene.
