Eating turkey with yummy gravy poured over it and mashed potatoes as well. Then eating nice and hot overly buttered buns! A slice of pumpkin pie with a bunch of whipped cream on top and my meal is complete!

I usually do this at my parents' house with other relatives. You just got to get there early to get the good seats!

I am going to visit my family in the Memphis area (and deep countryside in nearby Mississippi... ugh... don't much care for that part, to be honest) for a week! Flying from Tokyo in the wee hours of the morning the day before!

I'll be making the Thanksgiving Dinner as usual....
All the trimmings that one could possibly imagine, incl. my husband's " Oyster stuffing ", a family fave, Cranberry /Orange walnut relish from scratch, stuffed twice-cooked taters, etc....
I love Turkey so much I eat it through out the year, other than Lobster this is my fave American meal...
I always have several Turkeys in my freezer....
They all bring various desserts, they all expect my " Trifle ", another family fave...
Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

Working. But we don't really celebrate in Holland.
I will be working for someone else's celebration though.

Two questions suzy:
1. How big is your freezer?
2. Is that SHERRY trifle?

Nothing planned so far. One of the churches here used to have a dinner for the colony, but not any more. Ill probably just have a couple tacos or something.

Going to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time with the kids then returning to my mothers to warm up and have some Turkey. No cooking for me this year.
