My username is actually the name of one of my characters from a Fantasy novel I've been writing forever (it seems forever).

You graduated in the Year 01? Wow, that means you are over 2,014 years old? You look great for that age!

Hey! I also graduated in 01! I am super old as well!

Mine is an homage to one of my favorite characters (not literary) as well as the person who created/played him.
And to the movie from which it came.

Mine is just my first name and initial letter of my middle name and then a 1 at the end. I just wanted to keep it simple.

Himmelslicht is a German expression that means "Heaven's Light".
I chose this name because it's on the lyrics of my favorite song by Rammstein.
I have this nickname since 2006 and I still feel the same way about it as I felt then.
I usually listen to this song when I'm so terribly alone and desperate. If anyone wants to read the translated lyrics:

Ein Lied [A Song]

Whoever does good will be forgiven
Therefore be good in all your journeys
Then you'll soon have visitors
We'll come with the song book

We were born for music
We are the servants of your ears
Whenever you're sad
We play for you

If you live without sin
And give each other a hand
If you don't squint into the sun
a song will be played for you

We are the servants of your ears
We were born for music
Whenever you're sad
we play for you

Whenever you can't sleep
May you be treated to a song
And heaven cracks
A song falls softly from the light of heaven (Himmelslicht)

We were born for music
We are the servants of your ears
Whenever you're sad
We play for you
"Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world."
