If you had to get a book quote tattoo, what would it be?

I would most likely get a Lovecraft quote.
I already have a book tattooed on my left thigh.

I don't know what I'd get?! Most of my favorite book quotes are too long. Maybe I'd get a symbol vs. a quote? Umm...you have me thinking.

Maybe you could settle for the cover of one of your favorite novels?
Hrm...

“To love is to destroy, and that to be loved is to be the one destroyed.”

Hahaha!
That would be a wonderful choice. I'd probably get it across my clavicle. The first part on the left, the second on the right. :D

I think it would be something from Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire. I know it's not everyone's "best ever" kind of book, but something about it resonated with me and I love that book (and Walking Disaster). There are so many good love quotes in it, and the cover of Walking Disaster would make a fantastic tattoo. It's a blue butterfly (that's a doable tatt).

"I belong to my beloved, and my beloved is mine." ~Travis
"It wasn't just me, and it wasn't just him, it was what we were together that was the exception." ~Abby
"I didn't know I was lost until you found me."
"I knew the second I met you that there was something about you I needed. Turns out it wasn't something about you at all. It was just you." ~ Travis

I can't really see myself getting a tattoo, because I love anything that much that I could make a permanent commitment to.
But I guess if I were forced to, I would probably pick one of the more motivational or "love" verses from the Bible.

I would without a doubt get "Fear cuts deeper than swords." And "I live in books more than I've lived anywhere else." Honestly, if you're an avid reader, and the idea of tattooing a favorite quote on your skin pops into your head, you're going to be covered in ink because you KNOW you have dozens if not hundreds of favorite quotes.

It would certainly be: “I would shake the world until its teeth rattled if that was required to have it spit out an answer.” from the Broken Empire trilogy.

Probably something from Harry Potter, as it was the serious that probably affected me the most, and resounded with me the most in my childhood, and even now. As it is, I'm planning on getting "I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good" tattooed somewhere on my body, just haven't figured out where yet.
