It was a few weeks ago, and I'm pretty sure that it was for The Minion Movie.

I went to see Shooter with Mark Wahlberg in it with my fiance and swore I'd never go to another movie with him again. We ended getting there two hours early and sat in the parking lot. He complained and fussed the whole two hours even though I suggested we go someplace else until the movie started, but he was being stubborn. I even found it slightly amusing that he was actually arguing with his self, but after a while I looked at him told him I loved him, but would never go to a movie with him again. Til this day, I have kept that promise.....lol.

I havent been to a movie in years. I keep thinking of that scene in Ed Wood where the kids were whooping and hollering, throwing stuff around and I have visions of that if I ever went to a theater. It was something like that when I was a kid going to the Saturday afternoon cowboy movies. It was pretty quiet when the good guys were shooting it out with the bad guys, but when the singing cowboy hero would sing to a girl the mayhem would start. Yuck! Hes going to kiss her! Get back to the rootin tootin shoot em up bang bang!

A few months ago. We hit the movie theater maybe once a year. My husband dragged me to see Mad Max: Fury Road. Yes, I had to be dragged because I'm one of those implacable "I saw the originals; this will suck" kinds of people.

Fortunately, it didn't suck. In fact, it was kind of awesome.

It's hard to explain, but I get agitated having to sit through a whole full-length movie. I've never had ADD/ADHD, so I don't know how to account for it. However, we did go see the animated Christmas Carol together, back when it came out. Jim Carrey, right? With the 3-D glasses and everything! :-)
