Fresh ideas for comments on BOTD reviews.

Post by RonnyCollins27 »

After responding to the BOTD for so long, I’m running out of nouns and other ways to express what I think of the review and the book. How do you keep coming up with fresh comments? Some days my brain is on vacation, or it just refuses to cooperate. What do you do on those days in order to give a “meaningful comment? I’m new at this, so be kind, please ?!

Meaningful comment entails you read the review and share your thoughts on the book and the review. Just one line of what you really think of the book/review is enough.

I usually comment my thoughts on the content of the book. Instead of saying some variation of "good review" try thinking about whether you'd read the book, what stuck out to you, etc.

When I comment, I based it sometimes on my experiences, my feelings, and what I want to learn from the book, or just get one sentence from the review and expounded it with my thoughts. Well, I'm not saying that I'm good at giving comments but at least my comment aligned with the topic.
