How do I connect a book series?

I would love to connect several book series but I'm clueless as to start. I've seen one connected for example, Night Prince Series. On the page of each of the books in the series is a link that leads anyone to an author's page. This is the author that I would like to go through and add all of her books to her as well as be able to easily find all of the books in the series. How can I do this? Is there somewhere that explains this? I could really use the help.
