Are BOTM forums members only from now on?

Post by FunkyFlowerLady »

Hello y'all! Happy 2023!
I noticed BOTM forums have been members-only for the past few months. Is this going to be the way moving forwards, or can we expect the comeback of open for all BOTM forums?
And also, what about when I'm reviewing a BOTM but don't have an official receipt of purchase because I got it as a pdf through OBC? I'd like to discuss that book, but it seems I can't without an official purchase receipt.
I don't know why BOTM forums are closed off now, but I hope they open their doors to everyone soon.

I like that idea - open for all. The February book of the month is Mark Victor Hansen, Relentless. I reviewed it so it means I can interact in the BOTM forum this February? Even if I get it from the free ebook?

Good question. I didn't realize the BOTM continued to be members-only. I thought it was only for Scott's book.

You should consider asking the mods to move this topic to the Review Team Support Forum, in order to get more views/feedback.

I'm really hoping it's a short-term thing! When reading an older book of the month the forums feel somewhat dead since the hype has come and gone. Maybe they will only enforce this for recent forums!
