Fluently, I am currently monolingual. Just a smattering of a few other languages besides that.

I don't think it's impossible, but it's definitely one of those languages where you have to actually practice using it a lot, or you'll forget it right away. I can read some Chinese that I learned in the introductory courses I took, but that's just because Chinese and Japanese share some of the same script. I wouldn't be able to tell you how to pronounce those words at all!

So far just English for me. I know a little Spanish and a little German. My husband and I are working on teaching our daughters Spanish so they can be bilingual and one day I would like to learn German.

I am sure that one day your daughters will be grateful to you and your husband for teaching them more than one language :-)

Just English. I took two years of Spanish in high school but retained very little since I never practiced it. But I would love to learn Italian.
