More of Carolyn Meyer's young royals series (2) Patience Princess Catherine and Anistacia
The book Nightfather about a dad that was in the concentration camps and told his kids about it at night.
Valiant by Holly Black.
The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette, Wild Irish and to the Tower Born - all novels about royals written for older people like me (let me get my cane.
And last, but not least Dancing under the Red Star - a book about an American woman in the Russian Gulags from 1917 to 1932.

This and the other 75 novels next to my bed should keep me busy for a bit.....now what was the name of that Kathy Reichs book that sounded so good.....?

I wish we all lived closer together so we could hang out on my huge porch and drink margaritas and make a lot of noise so the neighbors get mad ;) and I just want to meet you all!

i might actually be making a road trip to Missouri or perhaps California or somewhere else because my dad is trying to find work. Im pretty excited about it.

If I had $100 to spend at B&N with no worries I'd get the Sherlock Holmes Slipcover editions. That would be sweet! :-)

I enjoy reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's work.. good stuff =)

i have a friend who i call Watson so when i see her our convo goes like this:
What's up Watson?
What's good Holmes?


and yes, that was a pointless story, i hope you enjoyed it :wink:

What's good Holmes? reminds me of like a hispanic gang member in like south central LA who wears plaid shirts and bandanas and kills people...just putting that out there

My dad gave me 600 bucks to help me out. And he told me to go get myself some books and some bath and body works stuff for summer. Most of the money went to things like car payment and car insurence and past due bills. He is a saint...he also just paid for a portion of our driveway to be rerocked and then he did all the work. I am telling you, I was raised by my dad and wolves. The egg donor has never done anything like that for me. :roll:
