Least favourite words
Mine are specific (probably cause I had such a hard time pronouncing it growing up) and tepid.

Your and You're (or vice versa)....no one seems to know the difference between them. It takes everything I have to not correct people when I see they've mistaken "you're" for "your". To me, it's hard not to see the difference.
You're = You are
Your = possessive
The difference is:
You're a terrible speller.
-OR-
Your mama is a terrible speller.
So, there it is. Two words that I absolutely cannot stand because no one seems to know the difference between them!

An example would be "Yeah, I seen that" instead of "Yeah, I saw that".
Seen being only a viable choice if it has words such as, has and have, in front of it.
*rage*
I also agree with Bowlie, another pet peeve.
