I really like the name Natacha - I have a weakness for Russian names, I also love the names Tatiana and Katya.

I was named after Gary Cooper, my dad's favorite actor. He wanted me to be a baseball player because of Gary Coopers role in the Lou Gherig Story, one of my dad's favorite movies. Sorry Dad, that never happened.

My name's pretty unique (I don't want to brag lol it's true, it's quite rare). My dad had chosen it for me because it was both the name of one of his best friends and because it was the name of a german emperor who died in Italy and was buried in Pisa, which is very close to where I live. My dad is a huge art and history nerd.

By the way, my name is Arrigo.

My name was supposed to be Bianca because my mom adores that name but my dad is very dyslexic and can't spell. They bickered back and fourth on what I should be called. My dad said that he'd just call me Bonk Bonk instead of Bianca. Then my brother intervened, thankfully, and now my name is Megan. Unfortunately, I still got a weird nickname of Moo with my name that my distant relatives seem to favor.

My name is pretty common. My mother got it out of a baby name book. Apparently Melissa sounded good to her and that is what went on my birth certificate.

My name actually has two words in it instead of just one, and I was named after two people - one from my mom's side, and the other from my dad's. :D

When my parents were living in Germany, they had an American friend/neighbor. Years later when my family moved to Texas, they ended up with the same neighbor. I was named after their transatlantic friend.

My grandad named me while my dad was away parking the car. Family lore says that I was such a quick birth that dad didn't have time to get there.

That is a very unique name, and nice, too. Are the first letters pronounced "Ch" or "Sh"?

My name is Natasha. My mother's favorite book is War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, so I was named in honor to Natasha Rostova.

I met a cab driver once whos name was 'Sultan'. His father worked in the Royal palace as well, and they lived behind it. :)
